Welcome!

We are transforming the lives of some of the poorest children in the world, through education.

Our Impact

75 lives transformed through scholarships

We fund students who performed well in their Standard 8 National Exams but whose families live below the international poverty line and cannot afford the secondary education costs. We ensure they have everything they need to succeed in school.

40 preschool children receiving an education

We have built a brand new sustainable nursery school for 40 children outside of Lilongwe, providing an income to a team of 6 ladies.

High quality boarding facilities for 50 secondary students

Opening soon - high quality boarding facilities for over 50 secondary school students

Anyone can make a difference.

You can help lift a young person out of poverty for good by supporting our work:

Our History

  • A large group of children and adults pose for a photo in front of a brick building with a corrugated metal roof in a rural area, under a blue sky with trees in the background.

    2025

New name, 75 students funded and expansion to preschool

For the first time we welcomed an equal number of boys and girls to the scholarship programme.

We expanded our educational support children aged 2-5 years by building a preschool at Mbabzi.

To reflect our expansion, we changed our name to The Malawi Scholarship Programme (MSP).

  • 2024

    30 students supported

The charity welcomed 10 new students bringing the total supported to 30; 26 secondary school and 4 university scholarships.
