Same charity, new name, bigger impact

We have some exciting news to share with you.

The Mbabzi School Partnership (MSP) is now The Malawi Scholarship Programme (MSP).

This name more accurately reflects what we do and who we are. While our roots are in Mbabzi, our mission today is bigger: to support Malawians who have the most potential but the least opportunity, champion girls, and inspire change in communities.

What’s staying the same?

✅ We’re still the same registered UK charity (same Charity Commission number).
✅ Our bank account remains the same.
✅ You’ll still find us at our usual website, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
✅ We are continuing to change lives through education

What’s changing?

✨ Our name – now The Malawi Scholarship Programme.
✨ Our mission has expanded – we support Malawians who have the most potential but the least opportunity, champion girls, and inspire change in communities.
✨ Our scope – we have expanded beyond Mbabzi to support students across the entire Njewa district, in Lilongwe through our partnership with Rugby 4 Education, and even down south in Balaka.

This change won’t affect your support, but it will allow us to reach more students, more families, and more communities.

Thank you for being with us on this journey. It’s an exciting time for the charity as we continue to grow.
