Unlocking Potential Through Secondary Education
In many parts of the world, secondary education is a right. In Malawi, it's a luxury. Families are required to pay for their children to attend secondary school — a cost most simply can’t afford. As a result, fewer than 15% of young Malawians complete secondary education. For girls, this figure is halved.
We’re changing that.
We provide students with everything they need to succeed.
Our scholarships go far beyond school fees. We support each student with the essentials they need to succeed: textbooks, stationery, uniforms, school bags, exam fees, and tutoring during the holidays. For students who live far from school, we provide safe accommodation and daily meals. For girls, we supply sanitary products and access to sexual health education and support. This holistic approach gives every student the tools they need to thrive — in school and in life.
Because education does more than open doors. It transforms lives. It lifts individuals, families, and entire communities out of poverty — creating lasting change, one student at a time.
We provide scholarships to young Malawians who have performed well in their Standard 8 exams but whose families cannot to pay the secondary school fees. Typically these families are living on, or below, the international poverty line ($2 per day).
